Personal:

I work full-time and go to school part-time. Running has been a fun and healthy way to relieve stress. I had a knee injury (chondromalecia patella) in May that I am still recovering from.

Went a shorter distance at 2 AM after work. I then ran 3 miles in the rain at 5 PM.

You are brave to run in the rain. I ran at Wheeler Farm in the morning and got chased by a goose! Good job on the five miles!

Geese are mean, whenever I cross paths with one I keep my distance. Thanks, I'm trying to run longer distances. Maybe I'll compete in a 10K this summer?

I am experiencing some right knee pain so I have been taking a break from running since Sunday.

Knee pain? Smart idea to rest. Hopefully it will clear up soon. I found out at work last night that a bunch of people in the ER are planning on running the St. George marathon!

I've just been taking it easy, and I have faith it will heal if I do so. Yay for 400 mg doses of ibuprofen and chondrotin sulfate with glucosamine. The new pair of Mizunos replacing my old asics has probably helped.

I will probably buy a bike after I get back from Portland. I'll probably bike to work in the fall, not the middle of June ;)

Just a nice easy run. Trying not to overdue it. My knee hasn't been bothering me much. I want to keep it that way!

My knee has been feeling a lot better and I decided to take a late night run. I had just got back from a vacation in Portland. I walked and biked everywhere the entire trip. Going to buy a bike this week to strengthen my quads and hopefully be back up to running 3 miles at a time by the end of the month.

School started this week, I had a big exam last Tuesday, and my girlfriend broke up me the Tuesday before. It feels good to run.

How's your running going? St. George was a pretty grueling race. Pouring rain! At least my knee didn't hurt. Just muscle cramping! I think I like 5ks the best. :)
